@arunkumar I get a Lomiri restart if I do the long power button press and 'take screenshot' on my Volla Phone X OTA-25, not a complete restart.

Pushing vol up/down together takes a scrrenshot as expectd.

In fact, pressing both volume buttons is the 'more natural' way to take a screenshot. At least it is the original way. The menu option on long-press power button was introduced for the Pine64 devices, since they did not support registering both volume buttons being pressed at the same time.

@arubislander But surely the long power press, 'take screenshot' should not cause Lomiri to restart. I would either expect it to take the screenshot or for devices where vol up/down option is available maybe pop up a screen saying how to take a screenshot.

@Ian I was not suggesting that it is a non-issue, only that the 'work around' is actually the main behavior. It is only that this other option is more visible.

But yes, the restarting is a bug which should be reported on the proper repository if it hasn't already been done.

Hi all, just to confirm that I see the same behaviour (reboot instead of screenshot) on a Pinephone64. And indeed, pressing both volume buttons does also not take a screenshot for me.

@ringprince PinePhone cannot send both signals at the same time (volume up and volume down). For this reason alone, the option to take a screenshot by pressing the power button was added to ALL devices.
