Hi @stefwe,
I've updated my LG Watch (dory) with the latest nightly build and the connection to my Sony Xperia X is stable.
If my phone is out of the bluetooth range the watch disconnects and automatically reconnects if the bluetooth distance is in the allowed range.

RE: Battery life......
I've no idea why, but since I disabled "Data-Roaming" (Neudeutsch: Daten-Roaming) and enabled wlan the battery life of my Pixel 3a ist much, much longer (last loading before 35 hour and 53% battery) then before.
Running Apps:
- RockWork
- Dekko 2
- TELEports

RE: Battery life......
@arubislander said in Battery life......:
@mrt10001 It must have something to do either with your usage pattern, the apps you have installed or the tweaks you have made. I regularly get 3 days battery life off my Pixel 3a. Sure that is not as much as I would probably get out of it running stock Android, but it is also not as bad as what you say you get.
You are a lucky man, because my Pixel 3a ist running between 24 an 28 hours

External Display - HP Elite x3 Lap Dock
Hi Ubuntu Touch users!
I've updated to OTA-23 and now it is possible to use an external WLAN display.
My HP Elite x3 Lap Dock works perfect as a display, but the touchpad and the keyboard is not working. There is also a huge mouse pointer delay, when I use the Pixel 3a as a touchpad.
Has anyone an idea or a solution:
- How to use the touchpad and the keyboard from the HP ELite x3 Lap Dock?
- How to get rid of the mouse pointer delay, when if I use the Pixel 3a as a touchpad?
Thanks,

RE: Bootloop Google Pixel 3a
@mrt10001
Tank's MrT10001, but my Pixel 3a was not recognized by Google Chrome.I've no clue if it was a good idea, but I've downloaded the ubports installer. My phone was recognized as Sargo but the installer told me, that the device can not be installed. After selecting manualy 'Google Pixel 3a/3a XL', Ubuntu Touch installed fine and now I have a working Pixel 3a.
Hurray, now I can put my Sony Xperia X in the drawer und a new aera with new hardware can begin.

fastboot update image-sargo-pq3b.190801.002.zipAfter that, I was in a bootloop with the following message:
Product revision: sargo MP1.0(ROW)
Bootloader version: b4s4-0.1-5653622
Baseband version: g670-00011-190411-B-5457439

Secure boot: PRODUCTION
NOS production: yes
DRAM: 4GB Micron LPDDR4X
eMMC: 64GB Micron

Enter reason: error boot prepareI've no idea to solve this problem. Has anybody a hint for me?

Version 0.0.6: LG Watch is found and connected via bluetooth. The functions in the app wasn't working.
-
Version 0.0.7: LG Watch is found and connected via bluetooth and all the available app functions are working (except the one that I need most: incomig call notifiaction, because during work my Handy is in silent mode).
My statements are true for Ubuntu Touch version 436.
Before I forget:
During the first time installation of the app in version 0.0.5, the directory "/home/phablet/.local/share/telescope.asteroidos/screenshot", for a working screenshot function, was not created. -

RE: Telescope development thread
@stefwe,
during my holiday I've updated to Version 0.0.6.After updating I can connect over bluetooth, but I also had the following problems with my LG Watch (dory):
- no "syncronize time"
- no "find my watch"
- no "take a screenshot"
Until now I had no time to test my Huawei Watch.
Have a nice holiday and lets see what the future brings
