Home(assistant)... Howdo I get my password in this app... I think I miss something becouse there seems only a place for the browser addres and tis is not enough...

I'm just now running the install from within the waydroid helper app. Back on the stable OS it shows me that the dowload speed is around 200KB/s, the is about 900MB to download. So yes, a verry slow connection for this app...

Well, back to the stable 24.04 version and most of my problems seem resoled...

@pparent Hi,
The problem is that there is a message in the bootproces te that tells me the bootloader is unlocked. It needs a press on the power button to get rid of it. After this UT starts. I'm not able to start the bootloader this way.

Luckely the " reboot bootloader works and I can inform I now am back to the latest stable version of UT.

UWolf wokes fine now with an apering screen keybord when needed.

I'm stil in the proces of getting back to where I was because I had to wipe the FP4.

I'm glad that my FP4 is regognised in Fastboot. My Pixel is not so I'm stuck on Google

I though volume up end power was the trick but even wait for a minute or even a half hour after powr down it will just bootup again.And yes, I hold volume + until the fairphone screen shows itself.

WTF. Sorry fo that but what has changed. I cannot find an other way to get into Fastboot.

@Moem Hoi,

Waydroid wil niet werken, niet vanuit de terminal en ook niet vanuit Waydroid helper. In de terminal een hele rits aan foutmeldingen en in de helper start het installeren wel maar is er niets te zien. Sop ik dat proces na 20 minuten dan zie ik ook weer een hele rits aan foutmeldingen.

Ik ga proberen terug te gaan naar de laatste stable versie want ik heb meer uitdagingen die volgens dit forum bij anderen wel werken op de zelfde telefoon.

Als Waydroid werkt lukt het misschien ook mijn bankapp te installeren. Ik kan nu geen online betalingen doen (mijn pixel is in reparatie...)

UT is mooi maar ook nog wel een uitdaging voor dagelijks gebruik.

It's a long time ago I installed UT so I'm not shure. I went from E/OS to UT so I think it was tru Android 11.

That said I think it's best to take a safe route and start from scratch. Or is it possible to try without the risk of bricking the phone?

I also still lie to know if there is a way to stop daily updates and go back to stable backups only?

When is the new stable comming out? If this is in the near future waiting is also an option...

Another question; Is there a way to stop UT from going into sleep when in Uwolf. It's realy annoying when I'm reading an artickle or lokking at a YouTube video and the screen shuts down after witch I have to login again...

@pparent Ok, for me that is a no go. I have a lot of passwords, all generated bij Firefox or chromium. It is really impossible to not have a passwordmanager that automatically, or via copy put them into a webside. Am I the only one making use of this form using passwords?

@pparent Hi Piere,

In Nin Browser settings, password auto fill it askes me for a file. Sadly It does not load my .cvs file. Id did, however, in UWolf.

For now UWolf seems to have the best papers for me. For now I just let it start wih the most needed websites for on the go. At home I use a small BT keyboard.

I miss a browser that functions wel and accepts a .cvs file with my passwords.
UWolf, Min Browser and Cromium for UT look promising but all of these are not loding the screen keybord. For now only UWolf looks the most promising. It accepts the .cvs, Is a Firefox browser wich I use on all my devices but, sadly, is not showing the screen keyboard.
Morph browser is showing the screen keyboard but cannot work as a password manager.

The oher thing I miss is a working WhatsApp. WhatsApp needs aphone version of WhatsApp to let me use is in a webbrowswer.
I understand that waydroid is able to run google apps but I do not understand how to activate this. The program is not running and crashes when trying to run a second time after fist install...

I think for now these ar my most urgent problems. I understand that some of the problems could be fixed by going back to the last stabel version of UT. I will try when my Pixel 8 is back from repairs after I made a stupid mistake trying to flash an oter versin of Cynogen...

I installed min browser again. My findings...
The screen keyboard is not activated
I not able to get my .cvs with my password loaded. It loops back to no passwords. When I try again the program cashes. I tryed this 3 times with te same result.

@pparent Hi,

Today i fiddled around with the installer. Whatever I try it keeps telling me to first back to stock Android version 11for my FP4. It also tells me to get in developer mode. So how does it work to get 24.4.1 stable on my FP4 with the installer? I cannot find any good info on what you describe?
