RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@jhackler The kernel has been patched for Anbox but it does not run successfully (it crashes the UI).

RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@golliath51 there's no android9 recovery for this device currently.
-
RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@adlinux try goliath51's config change to get SIM working.
-
RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@golliath51 Commands don't work for me neither. GPS is probably because there is no carrier acceleration in ubuntu touch.
-
RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@golliath51 To enable bluetooth:
sduo restart bluebinder

RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@tac Is there an error? Have you tried some other distributors of stock android 9 ROM?
-
RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@tac It needs android 9 stock ROM or it will not work at all. Maybe try the Sony Emma tool.
-
RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@golliath51 It works on Sony Xperia 10 i3123 and i3113 (single sim, international and US)
Dual sim should work with some configuration changes.

RE: FSF High Priority Projects
@flohack The FSF doesn't like any sort of closed source anywhere in the project...they don't recommend Debian just because it has a non-free repo and documentation.

RE: Dangerous question: how to replicate?
@totalrando Which Ubuntu installer?
- Desktop Ubuntu Installer can be booted on a PC with the phone connected with ISODrive.
- Ubuntu Touch Installer...maybe in libertine...fastboot and adb can be installed though (i think), and you may get somewhere by using the command line

RE: Sony Xperia 10 (kirin)
@golliath51

Format userdata with TWRP orfastboot format:ext4 userdata
Restart after install Android9 stock sony rom, format userdata, flash both images.
