RE: Can send but can't recieve files via bluetooth (Nexus 5)
@keneda There were two of them in there and I tried them both.
Then I decided to uninstall both of them I try them out one at a time. I quickly got it working after it failed the first time. It kinda seems slow to me, at the moment but I'll keep trying them out.
Thanks Keneda

Can send but can't recieve files via bluetooth (Nexus 5)
Hi,
I've just recently owned my first UT device about 2 days ago, which I've been playing about with and loving this OS on my Nexus 5.
I did have some hiccups and issues which I have already overcome (had it's with Tethering but a quick reboot managed to sort it all out for me).
However there is still one little big thing that I can't do via bluetooth; which is to receive files from other devices. I can send anything from my Nexus 5 to my computer and other phones, but not the other way round.
I'm I the only one having this issue, and is there any way to fix it.
Any help would be very well appreciated
Love and Thanks, & glad to now finally be apart of Ubuntu Touch user community

RE: Ubports Installer - phone remains stuck in boot process
It's alright guys, I just entered the bootloader mode in the phone and tried flashing it user the Ubports Installer again with my own desktop (linux) and it worked like a charm.
Still not sure what happened back then, but it's fine now. (Maybe it had something to do with the OS, I don't know)
Everything appears to be working fine, but for some reason I can't send files via bluetooth from Android devices, which is the only issue I'm having with it.
But thanks for the help guys

RE: Ubports Installer - phone remains stuck in boot process
@alter Just checked the forum, there doesn't appear to be a real solution spelled out in black and white.
The most I'm able to gather is that it has something to do with the updates that may be causing this issue to occur and that attempting to reinstall the app might fix it.
Not too much to go on besides chance, though

RE: Ubports Installer - phone remains stuck in boot process
@alter Thanks for your response Alter, I'll look right away.
I did try to look for a subject under Nexus 5, but I couldn't find on listed as such so I stuck with LG. I'll see if i can change it.
Thanks again. -
Ubports Installer - phone remains stuck in boot process
Hi, I've used the Ubports Installer on a friends PC (Windows) to flash my Nexus 5. It appeared to have worked or was going to, but since then it always stays in the Google Boot Screen endlessly until the battery dies.
I can still access the Boot Loader & Ubuntu's Boot Recovery Mode, so I can see it's done it's work on the device; but now I'm unsure where to go from here. Is there someone to check that it's successfully installed while bypassing the timeless boot screen every time I turn on the phone to finally get to see what UT is all about or will I have to start from scratch again?
I'd be very grateful for any advice given to me.
Thank you
