@keneda @AppLee Thanks for the answers! Sorry for the root confusion. It was supposed to be a different question, not related to the anbox. But still thanks for the answer. It seems like I won't be installing Ubuntu Touch for now. The pros just doesn't outweigh the cons for me, and I can't really give up some proprietary services. Thanks for the help though! @keneda In the Mi A2 device page, it says that JDI panels aren't supported and the only way to identify if its compatible is by using an app that requires a rooted phone.

@applee Cheers! How about anbox? Can I use that to install Netflix? And can I revert back to not being rooted when an app fails? I read somewhere that some apps might not work correctly if the device is rooted. Again, Thanks in advance!

I have some questions.
First of all, Can I still use netflix and spotify?
Second, Can I revert back to android if it breaks?
Third, Do I really need root to know if my phone is incompatible? It displays "NVT-ts" on the Touchscreen row.
