This is a short clip on youtube.
No sim and airplane mode on
Blows your mind.
Makes you want to install Ubports for sure
I have tested it in my pro5, I had a hitch,it would get as far as the Ubuntu boot screen, whilst installing and hang there, but it was installing even so,google+ kicks me off, even going in the browser. But wifi ,cell phone, email,FB, working
file manager, gps+ maps (not linking up).2g resetting after reboot still there.
I was hoping to be able to update as we went along with improvements.
The guys need pat on the back for this, very slick so far.
Here in the usa, the news is full of google tracking us and doing it with a combination of apps, they have had to explain how to disable it by going to their website. All in the name of advertising , i don't think so.
The reason i am putting this out there , is because the more they push this, the more people will look for something else like Ubports, so we need to make UBPORTS presence known.
You are right about the other Google apps, they keep track of you and,put the pieces of info back together later.
So much better soon, with good, email, browser, and so on,a lot of banking and that type of thing can be done thru a browser.
Keep up the good work, and thank you
Makes it easier to copy n paste
I have just put ota-4-RC (2018-W25) on my m10fhd.
To get the adb,to work.
I get developer page on the device,
Then connect to my PC, with a terminal already open, after a few seconds it will bring up the ALLOW connection screen,or i have to enter adb devices in terminal, then start ubports-installer ,then it recognizes my device, and i can adjust what it installs, once i enter my passcode, all is done by the devices.
Just in case you get someone with a problem.
very stressful for a retired truck driver like me .
nearly tripped up on the name for 43 , got there in the end ,now i need a drink.
