@thilov Hi, The screen seems to go dark if I press off, or press vol up/down and off, whenever active dark dark blue. During reinstall of OS with tool, screen never changed, it either goes off or the dark blue. It seems to be working except screen. I hadn't used it in a while but when I fired it up it worked, then while updating I walked away, came back to dark blue screen.

During updates of OS and Apps got blue screen, Oneplus One, so I used Installer, which went through the process and successfully installed, through the entire process and after, the screen is still blue. Is the phone trashed?

My phone is the OnePlus One 64GB.

I found the above link but doesn't look like the VPN set up page seen on latest Touch - RC.

Also, the set up is for free but I have ProtonVPN Plus. Prefer to set up with fastest connection.

I was able to get ProtonVPN working on Ubuntu 20.04 on my laptop but this is giving me fits! LOL

I have my OpenVPN username and Password is as far as I got.

I installed Touch on my OPO Cyanogenmod, I now want to experiment more and install LinegageOS.
Does Touch have this, USB debugging. It's supposed to be selected in order to install LineageOS.

Kinda stumbling around the LTE, MMS, and Internet settings, I can fill in all require settings except cannot find, APN Type=supl,default,mms

Everything seems to working, I can make and get phone calls, I can send and receive Texts. Just want to make sure I'm not optimized to best operation.

My OPO battery charge level icon is always at 50%, which is kinda scary not being sure where it really is, but not a dela breaker. Any-hoo, is this a know this, just my thing, or just the way it is?

@mawil1013 All supported devices will get the OTA. It is being rolled out and should be done by tomorrow I believe (Weds). The OTA will be over wifi or data its up to you so no sim required. Keep checking, by using system settings either About there a check for button there or in updates.

I'm still new to Touch with two phones, Nexus 4 and OPO. Is this OTA something all phones with Touch will be getting. Does it require a sim card being installed or is WiFi sufficient? Thanks to all the smart folks working to keep Touch viable !!!!

@lakotaubp Well, very odd, I was in ubuntu on my laptop, opened ubport Installer, Even though it said waiting for a device to connect, I ignored and manually selected devie as OPO, Do a Wipe, the menu at bottom stated it was down loading, and a another error message which I ignored as it was still showing download, then pushing to device, Well it worked, I'm in the intial OS set procedure! Crazy

I have a dual boot ubuntu / Win10 laptop, tried on both OS and couldn't budge OPO out of fastboot mode. But thank you for the suggestion! PS: It was obvious that something happened when I plugged in to Win10 USB from the beep, but couldn't see it pop up in files, so I couldn't change to it in terminal window. FWIW

Solved; Summary: Using ubport Installer, by pressing on and volume up, got fastboot mode splash, ignored all error and not connected messages, manully set up ubport Installer, the OS install operation none teh less installed and you can see the install messages even though there were other warnings of errors!

(OP)I have a OnePlusOne and I think I bricked it. It had Touch on it. I wanted to practice reinstalling original OS and then reinstalling Touch. I used Installer to wipe Touch for some reason, now all I can get is this; press on key until 1+ and powered by android splash, then if I press and hold on key and volume up then the Fastboot mode splash appears,,, there , thats all I can do.
So, can someone advise if and how to reinstall Touch please.
PS: I already downloaded oxygenOS2.1.4 and A001-02-Patch.zip, but when to the point where an OS is supposed to appear, well, as I said, I wiped Touch OS with Installer. ( I think it was Installer, its been a few months, it was an app that was from ubuntu)

@lakotaubp The 1+1 camera flash doesn't work, the battery charging is sproatic, which is why the questioned poised about which phone are truly 100% functional.

Playing and learning, going back to Orig. 1+1 OS Cyan.. nope, there is no back up - gosh darn. But that would be too easy.

I have a 1+1 16GB, I've downloaded the correct image and adb/fastboot

Currently the only thing on the phone is Ubports Recovery, (Not even Touch) Androids action and fast boot menus are available on the phone and the phone can be put into android fast boot, and I followed these instruction, http://www.droidviews.com/restore-oneplus-one-stock/

When I open ADB and click on the android install, it goes through process and most everything fails including unable to find the zipped and extracted factory firmware for 16GB.

Any ideas?
