      Dear Ubuntu Touch users

      Thank you for your answers.

Yes I am in USA. I did some research on difference between BE2026 and BE2028.
      And found

Oneplus Nord N10 5G hardware variants
      https://xdaforums.com/t/oneplus-nord-n10-5g-hardware-variants.4221237/

      BE2025 - Metro, maybe t-mobile?
      Be2026 - NA
      BE2028 - EU?
      BE2029 - Global

BE2026 it is. Thank for the warning.

      Dear Ubuntu Touch users

      Thank you for your answers.

I asked Tella some followup questions. For 1., I asked how long 4G LTE will be around.
      Fyi, their response is

At this time, the timeline for when 4G or 4G LTE will be discontinued is determined by the network operators, not by Tello. Tello operates under a main carrier network, so any changes to 4G/4G LTE availability will follow the main carrier’s network plans. While there is no official date for when 4G LTE will fully sunset, current industry expectations suggest that many carriers will continue to support 4G LTE into the next few years. However, we cannot guarantee how long 4G LTE service will remain active, as these decisions are made by the network operator.

I am leaning toward Oneplus Nord N10 that you recommended. The used Oneplus 6/6T is only $20-30 cheaper than the
used Oneplus Nord N10. And T-mobile mentioned they want to drop 4G and 4G LTE last year. It is a better investment
to buy a 5G phone. Yell if you think otherwise.

    • BUDGET 5G smartphone w/ Ubuntu Touch

      Dear Ubuntu Touch users

I am considering buy a BUDGET smartphone and install Ubuntu Touch.

Tello, prepaid provider which piggybacks on T-mobile, wrote me

      1. At present, 4G and 4G/LTE services have not been discontinued and remain widely supported. However, some carriers are gradually transitioning spectrum and resources toward 5G networks.

      2. When 4G/LTE services are eventually phased out, devices will generally be required to support:

      • 5G Standalone (SA) connectivity
      • Voice services over modern IP-based systems (such as VoNR, and VoLTE where LTE is still partially active)
      • Compatibility with specific 5G frequency bands and certification requirements.

In the past, Oneplus 6/6t was an ideal BUDGET phone. Unfortunately it is 4G LTE phone and eventually
will be phased out. T-mobile announced plan to discontinue 4G and 4G LTE even last year - the writing
      is on the wall.

I am looking at the future. What is a good BUDGET phone that works with 5G?

Thank in advanced for your opinion.
