@chdslv like @lduboeuf said, UI Tweak tool can make font bigger on the scaling menu. Im using it on focal but some functionalities are not wotking. The scaling is working tho. You can try with this: https://gitlab.com/deathmist/ut-tweak-tool/-/jobs/6032285328/artifacts/file/build/aarch64-linux-gnu/app/ut-tweak-tool.sverzegnassi_0.7.1-20240126-184416_arm64.click

Bring devs to UT
Just a topic to exchange ideas.
How can we convince more devs to come to this project and help it grow in a faster and reliable way? We have cookies (well i reject or block most of them but we can bring actual cookies

RE: How install Ubuntu touch on my Lenovo M10 605LC
@jeeva Hello

The only way is to have or create a port for the device. If it's not on the list, it doesn't have it, so you cannot install ubuntu touch on that device.

RE: Ubuntu Touch Q&A 123 call for questions
@arubislander ok understood. Sorry for it.
So, in that case, how can we convince more dev to come to this project and helpnit grow in a faster and reliable way? It's not really a question but a discussion topic.

RE: Ubuntu Touch Q&A 123 call for questions
@UBportsNews App lock and hide would be nice. Also be able to unlock Terminal, File Manager, etc with fingerprint

RE: Focal for MI5 phone?
@Moem no no. How on earth can you say such a thing? We have all the tools to guess everything! Everyone here has a crystal ball for this. You just need to use it. Unfortunetly, mine is broken so i can't help you
Now seriously, it would be easier and faster if people gave us the basic infos just to try to help them.

RE: POCO X3 NFC: FingerPrint reader always on :(
@Boldos same as mine.
On android, the FP / power button was working fine?
Also, did you install the correct stock ROM before flashing to ubuntu touch? -
RE: POCO X3 NFC: FingerPrint reader always on :(
@Boldos hi there

You're using the 16.04 stable channel?
I have the same phone and i don't have this issue. -
RE: Waydroid simulated wired vs wireless connection
@treebeard as far as i know, waydroid cannot use directly a wifi connection. Since it's an emulator, it creates a virtual network.
However, you can run this command to have a "fake wifi" for those apps:
waydroid prop set persist.waydroid.fake_wifi (string, 91 character limit) Comma separated list of package names for which the system will always appear as if connected to wifi. Supports wildcards with . For example, set this to "com.gameloft." to match all games by Gameloft
For whatsapp, when it waits for wifi connection to restore / backup media, this works like a charm. It can take a while until it activates the fake wifi.
But for some apps, to cast to the tv for example, i have issues since the fake wifi doesn't connect to a network, so the app won't find a tv to cast.
Hope it helps.

RE: How do I uninstall an app if it's no longer in OpenStore?
@Opolork Morph is the default browser and it's a system app. It's not dead buti believe it won't receive updates, maybe only on OTA upgrade or distribution upgrade (like Xenial to Focal)

RE: Waydroid blocking GPS to UT apps
@WillemHexspoor i also have the same issue on Xenial on my Poco x3 NFC

Poco X3 NFC
Hi to all

I can see on the ubports installler that there is already a 20.04 dev for Poco X3 dev. Is it safe to use it now or it's still in a too early dev state? Also, if i can help with some tests, i would love to do it.
Thank you

RE: Various minor problems on POCO X3 NFC
Sorry to reply to this old post.
I confirm the flickering screen.
I always had the same issue when using LineageOS or even miui.
On android 13, it's much better but, lonce a week, it happen.
Since utouch halium for Poco X3 NFC is based on android 10, the flickering screen happens once a day at least. And when i use miui with android 10, i have the same problem everyday, so i suppose that it's not, technically, an utouch bug.
