I have UT running on N7 gsm "deb". It's clunky to install, but it runs ok. If you try and get stuck, let me know.
However, I don't have a sim card for it, so I can't try gsm/lte

@lakotaubp I made an update from 15.04 to 16.04 It's more quick and stable.
