there are some very good apps and tools which should not be forgotten to upgreat to Xenal because they are very helpful like the two apps from Michael Zanetti Weather and Tagger but also others like Recorder. I use them often. Unfortunately I'm no developer so I can't do it myself. Is there some one of the community who can compile them? I decided therefore to remain on vivid but would be happy do change. thanks

Hello, after crashing my display of my BQ E5 I bought a Nexus 5. The prize for repairing was nearly the same. My question. Is it better first to update the android for reason of some drivers or can I flash direcly with the ubports installer? I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 on my pc. thanks

first some things about OTA 3 on my BQ E5. No new Functions but everything seem running more stable and smarter and quicker. So sorry that there are no new function for this Phone but the job you do is realy realy good!

I'm running Notes the client supporting evrynote and I use it also on my Job when I'm visiting my clients. I'm Projektmanager. IT works fantastic good but it is not on Open Store neither on the Ubuntu Store. It seems to be a development ( coreapp) of Canoniclal. Can you do something to get it in Open Store? who are the developers behind this app?

First test of Dekko2 on my BQE5 running OTA2. the keyboard does not appear in the config. menu. Impossible to create an account. Does anyone know this issue?

thanks for the information. I know the weather app an I use it already and yes it's really good. The new look since OTA 15 is more modern I think you did a good job there. It seams even a bit quicker and smarter.
One observation. Sometimes the system stops working. It's frozen for some second and rarely Ubuntu makes a restart. this happens only in the scopes. I thought that this was a todayscope problem because I noticed it most of the times there with OTA 15, but yesterday it happened also in the App scope. it would be nice that this would not happen.
But generally it works fine an I like it.

I 've some more Question about the process.
first I installed git hub on my ubutu pc. (done)
Now I 've do download the magictool via pc and install it on my phone right using the Installscript ".sh" and run the Install command
Than in have to reboot my System pushing the two buttons. And than after doing this I plug it into the pc right? not bevore!
The device will reboot again and then I run the download from the device terminal not from the pc.
And than I flash it. OK?
You told me that this will delete all my apps on the Phone exept the basic ones.
And than I have to reinstall Openstore first bevore getting the apps I need. Well i got some app which aren't on openstore but in Ubuntustore so thist store should not bee inactivated. Do I have to do all this work for every Update or release?

I would like to switch from Ubuntuphone to Ubports My device is a BG E5 but I'm a bit affraid because it's the Phone I use all day. Are there any issues.
