@vincebuntu fear not, none of the alternative OSes can lock a bootloader. Pinephone and Librem 5 don´t even have a lockable bootloader. The only risk that is has is that someone could access your data in case your phone gets lost or stolen, so better watch out - Other than that the locked bootloader has no advantage.

@dblake76 Hey weiti managed to run the newest images. do the same steps, but do after flashing android and flashing ubuntu "format data" with TWRP. TWRP is important. With Fastboot it is not running.

No, as far as I know, there is no stable channel for android9/halium9 rootfs yet and switching channel triggers a full update, which still breaks the system partition somehow. Can we flash the Stage deploy like the others? If you are talking about the devel-flashable job, yes.
