APP WEATHER
-
@mihael yeah, the old one works just fine
-
On OPO works...
-
@stefano I will try later. Thanks
-
@stefano you're from Bristol?
-
@elastic Not native ( Slovakia ) living in Bristol, UK for the past 14 years.
-
@stefano so do I, we might try setting up a UT meeting someday and see if there more users around - maybe an open meeting at Hamilton House... I'm often abroad for work but...
-
The latest Weather app works fine if you select OpenWeatherMap as provider but it gets a network error if you select The Weather Channel.
Can anyone with an OPO confirm that it works with both providers? Thank you
-
The apikey is missing https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/Jy4yHKZgnm/
OPO owners, are you sure The Weather Channel is working as a provider for you?
-
@domubpkm
same for me. Changing meteo channel, work fine. -
Hmm just to keep a proper track of this issue I've filed https://gitlab.com/ubports/app-dev/weather-app/issues/38
-
@advocatux You right. For OPO, it's work with OpenWeathermap but it doesn't work with The Weather Chanel.
-
@domubpkm ah, thank you. I was going crazy trying to imagine how it was working in OPO without an apikey. Thinking about some sort of weird cache in that model or something like that lol
-
@advocatux Yes. But it's strange. It seemed working for a certain time (when i said it's work...), and some time later it's didn't work. I desintall / install several times to try to understand...
-
-
@elastic That would be nice, but due me having no free time at all (4 days working 11 hours+ 3 days childcare, I got 11 months old son) so highly unlikely, unfortunately.
-
@domubpkm
same on my Pro 5 -
@advocatux Both work on my OPO. Only 4days info on Weather Channel. Lots more on Open.
-
@lakotaubp if you reboot your OPO, is it working with both channels?
-
ignore me just updated only one provider now.
-
Yeah, changing the provider works fine on Pro 5 after update.
