Redshift for night time
-
Feature request - it would be nice to have this to reduce the strain on my eyes at night
-
+1 to that!
-
@rocket2nfinity @Opolork started a thread on this idea a while ago - and @alan_g said: "I've added an issue to the Mir project. (But it won't be scheduled in the foreseeable future.)"
-
Theres an issue for that also here: https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/191
As a workaround you can use the global Suru dark theme selection in uttt and maybe help to improve that further.(?)

Thanks! In the meantime i'll try the dark theme
-
sudo xrandr --output eDP1 --brightness 0.5
I use values down to 0.2 on my chromebook. Colours wash out at low values but you might be able to adjust them separately (I did this once but can't remember the details).

@null This will not work on Ubuntu Touch.
-
@dobey How about this?
-
So maybe useful for the Pinephone?

No, this is just a GUI for configuring it.
-
+1 for this

-
@immychan does redshift really work on ubuntu touch? if yes how did you install it?
-
@chan1234 Redshift does not work on UT. See this thread for more context as to why not
