        @Keneda Yes, synchronisation beetween translate.ubports.com and websites is buggy.
        @Flohack know better about that.

          @libremax Its an issue with Odoo, which does not po/pot files in the usual way. It will rather overwrite po files when the texts on the homepage are changed, not only the pot file. Therefore it creates a lot of merge conflicts and we have disabled translation of the homepage so far. We need tzo look into this one day but the homepage has a massive amount of text and we see that also we do not get complete translations since its a lot of work.

          Maybe its better to not translate this page at all, since the quality of translations will be low, and you will always have a mixture of English and another language, I think thats a really bad UX.

            @Keneda, to keep the original website design topic about the website design, I've created a new topic related to the translation issues we have with the current website. I hope this is okay...

                @Flohack Would be a solution to go like with the system? If translations are not finished up to a percentage they are not published?

                      @CiberSheep Well thats not so easy, what if someone adds a sentence to the webpage then suddenly all languages fall below that limit. Should then automatically all languages be withdrawn from it automatically? Problem for Weblate is that the po from the webpage has huge strings inside, mostly complete paragraphs with a lot of rubbish HTML tags in between. You can easily just change a bit on the HP and the translations need to be redone. I am not sure that with the current backend that we are using (have to use) we can ever get this done nicely.

                          @CiberSheep For french, it would not be a solution, because the completion is at 100% Capture du 2020-05-10 15-56-12.png
