Not a breaking problem for now, just make your launcher app greater and bug free (i.e. i still have crash when trying add image page) :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Talking about that i noticed you just apdated it, v0.1.8, but last changelog on open store is for v0.1.7, could you update?

Edit : Wow just seen that you made possible add custom icon for "url website", "terminal command", and "launch app"!
If you can add a file/folder option to that (for exemple i'd like to make a quick file acces for my work planning ods file) it would be great.

Edit 2 : Saw that you made it possible to change scaling of icons, awesome!
That would be great that for the apps you make it possible to deactivate them on home page, and add an app page, for those who want separate widgets and apps.

Anyway take needed time to keep up that wonderfull work!

The publication comes directly from Brian Douglas so indeed the changelog does not arrive at the same time sorry.

For quick access to files it is an excellent idea !!!

For the image page indeed there is a bug which only concerns certain devices (I don't understand why ...)

For the deactivation of the icons it is in progress;)

Hi,

I installed launcher-modular on my phone. After setting it as the "default app" and replacing the standard dash, reverting these settings does nothing. I tried the default remove buttons as well as the link below the buttons.

After uninstalling the app and restarting, I am no longer able to use the device. I am also unable to reinstall launcher-modular because the OpenStore is not on my Launcher hotbar and the Drawer cannot be opened.

The following changes from default have been made in /usr/share/unity8/:

I had to reinstall Ubuntu Touch on my device to be able to use it again.

I fix this in next release sorry.

@UniSuperBox I also was in the same situation, and could restore the standard dash by switching between channels, so I did not need a full reinstallation.

@wgarcia Exept for flashing the bootloader, switching channels is very much like a 'full' install without wipe from the installer.

Have been using Launcher Modular for a few days now and it's great! Thank you for all the time and effort put into this launcher.

As a newcomer to UT I'd like to be able to get a direct read out on the battery level (top bar is too small). uPower app is installed in my Launcher. Instead of having the Weather forecast tool (can't change the weather after all) I'd rather have the battery percentage/time left for my OPO 3T displayed (opposed to the weather I can change the battery level if needed ).

Is there a simple way to accommodate?

When i get it crashing while enabling image page, the LM log vanish... (using the log viewer from open store)

As a workeround, you can add battery percentage in top bar with UT Tweak Tool.

I already tried this, but as i said above, after crashing, LM log is not longer available in logviewer.

In order to get the News Homescreen working correctly the SimpelestRSS by Kazor is the easiest way. However the app no longer seems to be available in the Open Store. There is a direct link to the app (https://open-store.io/app/simplestrss.kazord) but when opening that it just shows one game appeared called 'Astroid' by Kazord. Would like an open store app to get the News Homescreen up and running. Any suggestions?

The app is still in the Open Store.
You can check on your desktop computer.

I also checked on my phone, it's there too.
You probably run a arm64 device and the arm64 version has not been generated yet.
You can open an issue to the maintainer or try and build your arm64 click package...

@AppLee thank for the reply. And you're right, OnePlus 3T ARM64... Will notify dev. As a newbie to Ubuntu building my own click package is on my list to do in the foreseeable future, first I want to make preparations necessary to get the device into a daily driver device. Meanwhile I'm digging into the plethora of possibilities UT has to offer and getting acquainted with terminal command lines.
