The bottom part of the touch-screen on my bacon stopped responding, so I can't unlock my phone anymore. Is there any way to recover my data from the device or at least reinstall ubuntu-touch? Developer-mode not being enabled, the ubports-installer and adb do not find the device...
        Any help will be appreciated...

Have you tried to allow screen rotation and use your phone upside down ?
If it's just the lower part of the screen it should be fine I guess.

If your phone support OTG and you have an adpater then you can simply connect a mouse/keyboard and you'll be able to unlock.

@kugiigi Thank you, I only tried a bluetooth keyboard, but that obviously didn't work...

@kriszie That would have worked if it was already paired before 😅
Pairing would need to unlock the screen sadly.....we really need to add bluetoth pairing from the indicator 😄
