Can I make internet calls (VoIP, SIP)?

@nosucherror Me too, think it would be great with a softphone integrated. The way i would like it is integrated with the phone app as described in this post: https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg16455.html . A very nice thing from the information in his post is that it seems to be a small job to implement it.

@hans1977se Once upon the time I ported baresip (a command line SIP client) to the BQ E4.5 UbuntPhone. I was even able to make a first SIP call. Then I started to hack something together in Qt (baresip has a nice way to integrate other UI), but I gave up due to lack of time
There must be some post with my UI in the LP mailing list... -
There is work in progress for a Linphone port to Ubuntu Touch, but its in concept / tryout stage. But expect to have a beta soon
