In Germany, today was a special nation-wide testing of several warning systems, called "Warntag". One new element are warnings via SMS ("Cell Broadcast"). I've read that this is device dependent, e.g. IPhone 6 or higher. Anyway, did any Ubuntu touch users in Germany receive a SMS at 11 am?
I, using a Volla Phone, didn't get anything. Also the "Warnapp Deutschand" didn't give me any warning notification, but the "Entwarnung" (all-clear signal) just came in via push.
I want to figure out how much of this is due to our OS, our devices or just messed-up by our federal administrations.
