Forum account lockout

Hey, im so sorry to make a forum post when this is totally not related, but my account https://forums.ubports.com/user/kyoko seems to have been locked out and when i do a password reset i just don't receive an email, this was the same when i was trying to get a verification email yesterday when i made the account, just nothing shows up in junk or anywhere else (I have tried a bunch of times and waited since yesterday also) : (

I was planning to message on telegram but cant get access to that either :loudly_crying_face:

Is there someone that can take a look into this for me at all? Would super appreciate it. Again, im sorry to post this as forum post but i have no other way of making contact that I can see.

This is odd because "kyoko" account is not blocked or banned.
What is odd also, is it's not "kyoko" the account login, but "Kyoko U+1F64C"...
Last and I hope least, there is no email associated to "Kyoko U+1F64C" account.

Try to login with user name "Kyoko U+1F64C" and password you set, and then change your account name to "kyoko" and set an email.

Then tell here if you succeeded or not.

We'll see then.

Edit : kyoko1 don't have an email set either.

@Keneda I really am so sorry to keep making these posts in the wrong channel, this is the only place i can post without a verified account it seems, so when you moved the thread i now cant reply :loudly_crying_face:, could you move it back to /OS/20.04 Focal Fossa so i can reply on it? I will then delete this.

Hey @Keneda, thanks for the reply. Ikr! Its really odd. Yesterday I made the 'Kyoko' account but i didnt seem to be able to receive a verification emails.

The 'U+1F64C' unicode thing, i did that on purpose, i just thought it was funny, its basically the emoji -> :raising_hands:, sorry for being an odd one haha.

On this topic though, i still cant receive verification emails for this account either (both using the same email address).

Anyway, i got logged in now but only with the username 'Kyoko', I tried the 'Kyoko U+1F64C' one but i didnt let me, that just appears to be a display name for the profile (was what i thought originally anyway).

So, i can now login but only with the username, however, i still cant get verification emails or reset emails for some reason. I have done 'change email' multiple times from two different browsers with no addons (just to be safe), and nothing seems to work.

It seems there is, again, a problem for new users to access all the basic members forum sections, could you investigate?
Also a mail registering issue?

I don't know what's going on but that's not only a mail verification problem.
If that's the case you shouldn't be able to post anywhere in the forum, focal fossa section is not a sandbox section...
