Music app update 3.2.1
-
Same on Redmi Note 9S Curtana. Black screen...
Shall we need to raise an issue here? https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/apps/lomiri-music-app/-/issues
Edit: Issue has been created: https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/apps/lomiri-music-app/-/issues/99

Black screen when opening music, forced to restart my Pixel 3a
-
@carl I was able to swipe from the right to see all open aps and then dismiss the black screen by swiping it up or down. No need to restart.
-
Same here on Pixel 3a XL.
If you want to use the app in the meantime, while it is being fixed, you can install the older version from the open store: https://open-store.io/app/music.ubports/versions

@TheBird Thank you. It worked! I just could revert back to 3.1.1 and the app is working again!
-
@TheBird Worked for me too. Many thanks.
-
@TheBird Thanks a lot for the hint!
-
Thanks to both of you, Ian and The Bird
With OpenStore there should be a function to revert to a previous version in case of a bug.
-
@TheBird Thank You.
-
Reversing an app update via the online Openstore is of course usually possible if the faulty update didn't break the system. It is not a new thing. What is surprising is that an update can be released while it seems not to work on any smartphone (non-device specific malfunction) !

@TheBird thanks a quick life saver
-
Version 3.2.2 has just been released in the OpenStore and works perfectly well. (at least on my side)
I would suggest to test it and mark the subject as "Solved".
-
release 3.2.2 by OpenStore app, it's ok now.

-
Works for me on Vollaphone X running 20.04 OTA 5 (eagerly awaiting OTA 6).
-
Thanks a million to whoever fixed this so quickly! And for updating the core system apps in general. We appreciate you!
-
Just updated again! Works on FP4.
Thanks for the quick solve.
Any dev of the music app around? Would have some questions?
