        Hello Friends,

I have this idea where both Lock Screen and Home Screen can have a separate Wallpapers instead of one wallpaper used for both.

Want to see for fellow developer's opinion about that.

          Hi @Salah

Customization is not a topic of interest at the moment.

This is considered a luxury when the system struggle to stay relevant.
VoLTE is a pressing matter, updating Morph, keeping up with upstream is also important as well as finding a way to get better messenger apps (notifications, voice calls, video calls, reactions, etc.)

At least that's not something the foundation is pushing forward.

          But sure why not ?...

I personally don't like having too much settings and prefer having something easy to configure.
So I would prefer not having this feature than having a another setting just for this.

And RCS which is new standard replacing SMS and MMS would be very appreciated πŸ˜…

@AppLee I strongly agree with you by focusing on main topics, enhancing certain areas such as notifications, voice calls, reaction and battery consumption improvement.

If my idea would be accepted after solving all above mentioned issue. It would be a good feature to have it on action, as for me, would like to separate lock screen appearance from home screen. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I'm pretty sure most people would agree with this. It'll be optional anyway. So it's really just a matter of someone implementing it.
And since it's not an essential feature, it might take someone who really wants it πŸ˜„

@kugiigi To tell you something. I have been using Nokia N900 for more than 7 years. If you see Maemo OS which was presented on 2009 at that time, you can do alot of modifications and have fun customizing it as per your demand. It is Linux Based by the way.

Lock and Home screens can be modified so easily as well as other features.

@Salah As you have by now noticed, making it possible to customize the UI is not a focus of the Lomiri project.

What is possible to do now is what will be possible for the foreseeable future.

Many people seem to believe Linux means unlimited customizability, but this is not the case for all DE's. KDE is much more customizable than Gnome. And Pantheon has even less customizability options. Yet all are full fledged citizens of the Linux ecosystem in good standing.
