Nordea ID banking app question in Ubuntu Touch on Fairphone 4

Hello everybody,
I'm looking into switching my Fairphone 4 to a Linux OS - currently running CalyxOS.
I don't really need anything fancy in my cellphones and I'm not picky with apps, so if the phone places calls and has a browser, that's good enough for me. But the one thing I absolutely need is my banking app's identification app - and sure enough, that's Android-only.
I run the Nordea ID app in Waydroid on my ARM laptop, so I know it works in Waydroid, but the camera doesn't work, which prevents me from activating my account with a QR code (I can activate it with a SMS though but it takes 12 hours and the bank charges a fee)
I've also read Nordea ID works in Waydroid in SailfishOS, and apparently the camera works - kind of, but some users complain that the app refuses to run on a rooted phone.
Does anybody know if Nordea ID works in Ubuntu Touch / Waydroid and if the camera works on the Fairphone 4?

I would need the same for Swedish BankID soon. I have tried to avoid waydroid for battery drain issues, but I will likely have no choice for Swedish banks. -
I've found that the Norwegian Obos banking app works in Waydroid. Vipps, BankID and DNB does not. Very few banking apps work out of the box in Waydroid.
I've not installed all of the fixes to get microG or gapps working in Waydroid, though. I was crazy enough to transfer my buss pass to Waydroid (Ruter app, works great) early on, and due the limitations on how many times you can transfer the yearly ticket between phones, I've not dared messing too much with the installation, as I'm not ok with the potential financial hit. I'll experiment more when it is time to renew the buss pass.

@O.o. The camera in waydroid, as far as I know, works in all UT devices where waydroid works.
I use it in a FP5 with the Pleko app (Chinese) for OCR on Chinese characters, and I have used it to scan QR codes to login into streaming services. So I think it should work in the FP4.
But if the app has controls against rooting or any other of those filters, then the app will not work in waydroid. If you say that it works in your desktop, it should work, unless those filters jump in when you try to validate with your camera.

The Nordea ID banking app work in my Waydroid - with MicroG - and it also works on my rooted Nokia 4.2 running LineageOS. So I don't think it's that clever when it comes to detecting something fishy. At least not yet. But like I said, I read some users stating that it did get pissy in Sailfish.
But anyway, since I know it's likely to work and you know it's likely to be able to use the camera, I think I'll backup all my data this weekend and I'll try installing Ubuntu Touch. Or maybe I should find a second-hand phone to mess around with UT and/or possibly with different Linux distros without risking ruining my perfectly functional FP4
