@Charly It happens, we're all human!

        Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

          Hi @Charly,

Sorry for confusing your Volla device with the Fairphone:
I was searching the internet for a way to completely shut down a smartphone, as if you were disconnecting the power supply. Like with the old Qualcomm chipsets, where holding down the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds would cause a short triple vibration, triggering a warm start of the device and clearing the processor and RAM.
Then it occurred to me that with the Fairphone, it is possible to remove the battery. I have no idea why I no more realized that you have a Vollaphone and not a Fairphone.

Now to the update problem: can you use the apps that haven't been updated, or do they not run on the device at all? πŸ˜• πŸ€’ πŸ˜‰

                Hi Charly,

Now I would wait until Noble 24.04-1.0 is released as stable, and then reflash with the UT installer, making sure not to check the data box so that your data is not lost.

It just takes a little patience.

                Greetings

@Charly you can install the Ubuntu Touch Tweak Tool (UTTT) app from the open store and clear the cache of the Settings app with that. This will remove those uninstallable updates.

Hello & thanks arubislander, I deleted the cache as described, but the apps are still attached to the installation. (See the attached screenshots)

@Charly In that case you might need to clean the Data as well. Be aware that you will need to go through the First Run steps again if you do.
