Is it possible in use Proton VPN? Especially if it can, a response from someone who is actually using it would be great!

I am currently working on a tutorial for setting up VPNs for UT from the .ovpn file that most VPN providers generate for users. The tutorial will be available on the UBports blog on Wednesday so just be monitoring that and if something still isn't working, reply to this thread and I'll see what I can do to help!

@amolith Hi, @ernest has pointed out at https://forums.ubports.com/topic/1274/vpn-on-ut-tutorial-here
that proton VPN is still affected by this bug. Do you know if that is the case or if it is now fixed https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/46
Does this also relate to what @Bolly mentions

@bolly I noticed that as well. The menu area to import the Private Key has None as an option and that's what you should select if using ProtonVPN.

@Lakota I will investigate as soon as I have the time to look into it. My summer has been absolutely packed so far and I barely had time to write tutorial.

I'll report back and ping you with what I find!

@amolith I'm searching for, .ovpn, without a hard link. I have found this, https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-vpn-tool/ but don't see .ovpn

I use PIA and I have found this link while searching though about setting up Ubuntu Linx and it is a shame that the vpn set-up on my M10 is not as easy as this, https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/client-support/ubuntu10.10-pptp
However, in the Advanced Open VPN section i have Ino idea which file to downloead and use. I would assume that i need the tcp/strong file but with vpns i do not want to get it wrong.
