No Network Connectivity – microphone is not working
-
@Vlad-Nirky Yes, I installed Android 10, before I installed Ubuntu Touch
-
but anyway, do you mean it has to do with the phone and not with UT?
-
@bunt7
If you want to know whether the installation matters for UT, then the answer is yes.Each port relies on Halium, which communicates with the low-level "drivers" that the UT installation leaves in place. The interfaces are adapted for a given version of Halium.
So if you install with the wrong version of Android to begin with, it may not install at all, it may install but parts of UT may not be able to talk to the hardware, or it may work completely (but then that's just luck). -
@Vlad-Nirky Ok, I am sure to installed it from Android 10.
So have you any suggestion how I can fix it? I use the microphone very often, so it would makes things much easier to solve it. -

The MIUI image version to use is specified in the installation guide under "2. Check the correct version of MIUI".

There is a know bug with microphone : The microphone does not work after a call, except for calls
Unsure it's the same bug you've met, but it's worth checking out.More details at https://gitlab.com/EricHeintzmann/ubuntu-touch/xiaomi-surya/-/issues/26

The second thing is, that the Network Connectivity jump, without doing anything, from the first to the second sim card (the second sim card is usable only for calls), and than there is no Connectivity.l.
I have the same problem on my vollaphone 22 I plan to write a script that reconnects automatically when the network cellular connexion get lost but LTE connexion is enabled, as a temporary workaround. Then we'll see with the devs if anything can be integrated in the system to make connection more reliable.

Cool.... thank you Bolly! I will give it a try next week. It would make thinks much easer!I hope I can fix it.

@pparent Oh yes, brilliant

Meanwhile I use only one sim card, it was to annoying.
I am looking forward to use the second one again.
