Country (region): USA (Southeast)
Mobile Operator: T-Mobile (VOLTE, call, text, internet, success!)
tried Ting first, but failed for me

Note: downgraded to 24.04-1.2 RC2)
VoLTE works (as does everything else! call, text, internet, etc)

I downgraded as I could not get Waydroid to install properly or work on 24.04-2.x. However, it does work for me on 24.04.1.2 RC2.

hello @jam1388 ! I totally agree with you! I just got my NORD n10 5g to work today and in the device verification via T-Mobile webpage, sadly, I think it said this won't work with the satellites. Hope we can get a couple of good years out of it nonetheless.

@charly @messayisto Can you please add a bugreport for your devices for the problem with missing dial tone? I've already done a bugreport for the Volla22, but for your devices there are none. Hopefully this will prioritize this bug, as it's present in every(?) Volla device.

@kristatos The bug is very inconsistent on my device, I dont know if I can reproduce it properly, but I will try. Can you give me the name of your bugreport, is it in gitlab?

I can say that it seems to depend on the person I call - or more probably the technology they are using. I suspect call tone is working when calling people connected via 2G but I can't prove it. I use a FP5 so this is not related to Volla.

I can say that there messages in the exchanged data blocks that are unknown from the UT telephony stack, but no idea if there are call tones indicators hidden in this mysterious data. Maybe just decoding and interpreting them could be enough. It seems likely because I can't see a reason why the cellular providers would not send the call info to UT phones specifically. But in the real world, things can sometimes get very complicated.

I have tested VoLTE again lately. There is still no dial tone. The called one simply talks about.

Hello, just here to report I have tested the Rabbit R1 in Canada on the koodo/telus network and can confirm VoLTE call and text both work for both dispatch and receiving. The only thing which does not seem to work is the signal bars indecator and I was unable to use any data on the 4G lines even after putting in my APN settings, I am hopefull its just a configuration problem and that I can solve it with apn though I have not figured out what yet.

Hmm. Perhaps wise to post here as well:
VoLTE working on Oneplus Nord N10, 20.04 OTA-12 RC-1.
Lucky Mobile under Bell network, Canada.
SMS working as normal.
MMS working as well or perhaps better than before. Fewer undownloadable messages, though this could yet be coincidence.

I would like to give a little status update.
I am on the latest RC 24.04-1.2 and have a Volla X23 mobile phone.

VoLTE has been working for me for a long time. But the usage is not good.

Since it was available there has been no ringtone when dialing. So it's hardly usable.

A bug report was created weeks ago.
