I would like to change which icons are shown in the favourites panel or bar or whatever it is called. The UT Tweaks tool looks to be suitable, but I note the comments in the tutorial

imply that it is not for novices like me. Are those comments still valid for OTA 12?

@cliffcoggin the tweak tool only adds apps to the top of the scopes, since scopes don't exist in OTA12 the tweak tool favorite apps page doesn't do anything.

the favorites settings in UTTT is not to set favorites icons in launcher, but in apps scope, and was usable untill OTA11.
Since OTA12 scopes are gone, making this setting useless.

If you want to change apps icons in launcher, long touch one already in then select unpin to remove , if you want to add one, launch corresponding app, then long touch icon that spawn in launcher then select pin.

@cliffcoggin To remove and app from the launcher long press on the app and a menu will appear. To add an app, when it's open and showing in the launcher do the same and press "pin to launcher".

Thank you folks. The pin feature is ideal for what I want.
