Can you explain this sentence ?
Presumably an issue with clearing customs or such.

I would like to have the app(s) in accordance with AppArmor. What would be the appropriate way, the rules to be met and time frame (read: 'delay') for the apps to get AppArmor'ed? Any pointers?
Beyond being confined apps, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here.

@domubpkm I tried to buy a nexus 5 on ebay and also a one plus one twice and the shipments did not arrive

What does it take for a developer to get an app being marked as AppArmor confined app?
-
@johangm90 I can send you mine when my PinePhone arrives, hopefully next week since it's already almost 3 months since I ordered. Or I can buy you one and ship it to you. If you want to develop further Vulgry app, I will help you with money.
-
Looks like its working now, no changes made in code just a quick fix in the api service.
Can someone test it and confirm if it is working?
-
@johangm90 Http Error 403. Am I missing something?
-
@C0n57an71n Can you send the link of the video?
-
@johangm90 https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=_0B_dus_byY
I was trying to download the audio.
It asks me with which app should the download be opened and regardless if you choose File manager or Music player it encounter this error. -
@johangm90 it works here on a BQ M10FHD
-
@C0n57an71n looks like and error in the api service parsing the url i used the short url provided in the youtube website: https://youtu.be/_0B_dus_byY and it works
-
@johangm90 when I'm copying your link in Vulgry, it behaves like before: loading forever. If I load my link it does something, but is unable to finish the job. Somewhere, something doesn't match...
-
@C0n57an71n ok i see it now. its look like the video you tried to download have some extra protection and it need more work to make it downloadable by the app i will try to fix it
-
@johangm90
Yes i get this with your link on BQ E5 HD dev :
-
@johangm90 It works if I use the search function from the app. Now I'm facing another problem: when choosing an app to open it, File Manager or Music player, it seems that the download is nowhere to be found.
-
@3T_Ed Just make an app as normal following the documentation. Apps are confined by default.

Thanks for confirming the apps are confined by default!

@kugiigi Since we have @johangm90 back on the deck and his apps are back and kicking, you could get involved and have a look on the download part of the apps. Johan doesn't have a UT phone, yet, and I don't know if he can test this behavior without a phone. You can team up with him, whatever make things easy and fast. You'll receive a donation for your time. What do you think?
-
For those who want to support Johan financially for his work on Vulgry, he has a Paypal (or credit card) link with his other very good and usefull app Cloud Music :

@johangm90 It doesn't matter if it cant download some protected links. I would like to fix the download part as by now I can't figure it out where it downloads the files. If I choose Music Player it fails to play it, and if I choose File Manager and download it to Downloads is not there. The other app, Cloud Music is able to download it, but the file has a gibberish name and it won't play in Music Player.
