Is it possible to copy and paste text from an SMS on my FP2 to a text file on my PC? [Solved]
-
Hi.
I'd like to have this ability.
Thanks.

@Opolork
Hi.Yes yo can.
You have to slide the message to the left and tap on the first icon.The text is now copied in the clipboard.
Now yo have several options.You can copy the message to Teleports and save it from your computer. That's what I do.
You can also use SSH to connect to your computer, VI a text file and paste the message.
You can also use a text editor, create a file on your phone and sync the output folder with your computer or copy the file when wired... -

@Opolork
You're welcome.And BTW I mentioned only Teleports, but Axolotl can do it or an email...

Oh and I use QR codes and Tagger to get data from a computer.
I use online services to create the QR code... -
@AppLee Nice!
-
@AppLee Could you elaborate, please?
-
@Opolork
If I want to save some text or link to my phone, I use QR codes to do so.You can search for "qr code generator" and you'll find plenty of them like, for example:
https://online-qrcode-generator.com/Then you just copy paste your text to the generator.
On your phone, using Tagger you scan the QR code from the screen.
Now Tagger allows you to copy it to the clipboard.
And then you can paste the text to send an SMS for example.I do this when I don't have Telegram or Signal on the computer (mostly at work).

You can SSH from an xterm, urxvt-terminal or kconsole into the phone, look with sqllite into the database where the SMS are stored cut the text you like with the mouse and paste it into any other terminal into a vim session.
