            @ubportsnews Great work, lads! 👏 🙂

              I am on rc. If I switch to stable no updates are shown. If I reboot, rc is my channel again even if I choose stable. I use OPO.

                @marius-ciclistu The OTA is being rolledout over the next week to avoid server overload. You can get it now if you wish by following the details given in the blog link in the first post.

                  Does the latest RC fully correspond to OTA-17 ?

                    @domubpkm When this came out https://forums.ubports.com/topic/6055/ota-17-call-for-testing-companion-post/20 then rc was indeed OTA-17. The latest RC after this (if there have been any) well have moved on from OTA-17 or the new stable channel.

                      @lakotaubp I remember being on v 100 on rc. Now after I tried to switch to stable, the recent updates show only v99 even if before it showed the v100. I experienced strange behaviour regarding the channel switching in the last month.

                        @marius-ciclistu I don't know if it's related, but I'm unable to switch back from RC to stable (RN7). Each time I go in updates settings it's on RC again...

                            This spread is to give us time to interrupt a bad update in the future (should that ever become necessary), not to accommodate any bandwidth restrictions.

                            Who says right? lol ^^

                            That did me the same from OTA-15 to 16.

                            Only when my device received OTA 16 on stable, i had the dowload starting and channel staying...

                            And again it does this now.

                            We can say it's a normal behavior then ^^

                                For me it works ok-ish the rc v100 so if that went into stable there is no rush. Maybe I'll stick to this one until I know that the contacts search on tap-up (key up) triggers the search, not like now when I must write then delete until I win the slot and the search is triggered. This is the best UT until now for OPO.

                                  @marius-ciclistu humm i think contact search issue started from OTA-16 with QT5.12 upgrade, and if search typed slowly, it is fine. correct me if i'm wrong

                                    @lduboeuf I recall having contact search troubles looong before OTA16. I always had to type, like you say, slow or delete letter and type again, so search can kick in.

                                      @lduboeuf Even if I type slowly it does not search every time.
                                      Also pressing enter on the keyboard does not search.

                                        @jezek yes it seems that contact search need to be rewritten. One thing interesting would be to test https://github.com/ubports/dialer-app/pull/158 when merged to see if contact search is still slow to trigger. If not, i will try to implement it like this for classic search

                                              Me too and am happy to say the camera flash now works. Contact search works for me on Nexus 5 just as it did on OTA-16.
