      Is it a chance to change wallpaper in terminal? I have tried gsetting set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri 'path/to/picture.jpg'
      but it did not work.

        Why in terminal as you can do it in settings ?

              You will need to also set the path in the AccountsService dbus API.

                Not sure this is relevant or helpful but when I ran xfce4 installed in the root via x-forwarding, changing the wallpaper there also changed the one for Lomiri.
