How to change wallpaper in terminal

      Is it a chance to change wallpaper in terminal? I have tried gsetting set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri 'path/to/picture.jpg'
      but it did not work.

        Why in terminal as you can do it in settings ?

          Probably to automate it and maybe change the background dynamically every few hours...

              You will need to also set the path in the AccountsService dbus API.

                Not sure this is relevant or helpful but when I ran xfce4 installed in the root via x-forwarding, changing the wallpaper there also changed the one for Lomiri.
