        hey people,

        hope anyone could help me.
At the beginning this problem it suddenly happened that I couldn't send or receive messages to just one person.
After deleting registration, .cache, and .config an reinstalling the app it's possible to send messages to any recipient. But receiving is not possible any more. Tried different contacts. Same result.

I opend a issue on githug
        https://github.com/nanu-c/axolotl/issues/641

Could you please help me to debug or to find a workaround. Axolotl is very important for me.... thx

As a workaround, you could install Signal for desktop on a PC/laptop, and link it to your Axolotl account. Then you will be able to use that in tandem with Axolotl.

                  Yeah, could an option.
But my desktop runs 32bit ubuntu. There is no Signal desktop app for this environment unfortunately. I'm totally depended on axolotl....

Update: I just completely reinstalled the whole UT OS, hoping to get a working axolotl back. But no luck. Still the same problem. Can't receive any message.
Looks like I'm the only person facing this problem. It's very frustrating.
Still hope someone can help me.

(also updated the github bug with some new logs!)

What is the reason that you are stuck with 32-bit Ubuntu ?!

We have 64-bit processors for more than 15 years in this crazy world! 🙂

I wholeheartedly sympathize with your post. I have a related issue (see this thread https://forums.ubports.com/post/58152).
A reinstallation did not fix this issue either. I would really like to know whether other forum members experience similar issues or whether this is FP2 on OTA20 specific ? There is quite some urgency for me in this and I would hate nothing more than activating an android phone for this. I also confirm that the Desktop App does not solve my issue.

                            Not in the smartphone world.
Nexus5 for example is 32 bits and a real good device for UT.

Friendly advice: such comment can be negatively interpreted... 😉
I don't think it's hurtful but something to keep in mind when writing.

And the philosophy behind Ubuntu Touch is also to avoid the craziness of renewing your phone every couple of year.

I happen to know a lot of people who have been using their OS in 32-bit mode while there was totally no reason at all to do so! 😉

And then I am talking about 12 year old laptops with processors like the i3 350M/370M and so on.....
