Viewing Disney+ on Volla X with UT

@kugiigi said in Viewing Disney+ on Volla X with UT:
Most video streaming services use widevine for DRM and unfortunately, it's supported in UT.
it's not supported in UT

@keneda Edited now. I always forget to type that word

@kugiigi Half off thread but:
Even with WayDroid I'm not able to stream a media on Disney Plus app.
The app itself works, but streaming is blocked (error 32)
I called Disney Plus customer helpline and they told me that "Volla Phone" is not recognized as a "trust" device by their server...However, some other users did report that Disney Plus does work on other devices on UT through WayDroid.

@stanwood I just tried Netflix on mine and videos won't play. What I learned from my experience with my portable projector is that these services like Netflix sucks. They're all about money and doesn t care about their customers. They don't just require L1 widevine, they also whitelist devices. And whitelisting needs your device to be manufactured in millions. My projector has L1 widevine but since it's a niche product and comes from a relatively small company, it's stuck with an old patch Netflix app.

@silicomancer I found a dev that did a working Netflix, Disney+ and Crunchyroll chrome wrapped solo app for each one. It wOrks under x64; however, morph is a chrome like web browser. Do you think that can work?
-
@thousandtopics I think it's worth the shot since Morph is using QtWebEngine which Chomium.

@kugiigi x86 is not a problem because you can easily grab widevine for it.

@ranjhhaheer I had exactly the same answer from them when I called them 2 months ago..
Would be nice to get a spoofing signature that could change the device's name. Don't know if this is possible in WayDroid...
