        Good morning,

thanks to the help of the community, the backend service for the uAdblock project has been redeveloped.
Through this new development, it is possible to provide much more resource efficient and faster the lists for all users.
Thus, the maintenance effort has decreased by almost 90%, which allows me to continue to provide the service to you.

Thus, all services are back online, backend and domain, and it follows in the course of the next 48 hours an update of the app, which even adds 4 additional lists and fixes some minor errors.

I would like to thank the community for their support, be it financial, cooperation or just sympathy, which has shown me how important this project is for everyone.

That is very good news! This is such a worthwhile project.

            Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

We have taken uAdblock for granted for years. We shouldn't have and know better now, it was only this close before it had to be shut down.

Many thanks to you and all involved for this second chance to keep this important application available to the community.

Currently, there is a broken version in the store.
The new clickable 7 break the build process.
                  Will fix it soon.

                        @mihael Yes. See https://forums.ubports.com/topic/7696/is-there-a-method-too-add-block-on-youtube-without-paying/1
I'm not sure at all, but MAYBE later it would be possible to install scripts in morph to block that with https://gitlab.com/ubports/core/morph-browser/-/merge_requests/527 as it can be done in other browsers like Firefox for example.. or NOT..

@mihael Aren't YouTube adds inserted directly into the video stream? That would make them difficult to block.

In fact, i found a solution to read youtube videos in browser without being annoying by consent popup :
Try opening an embedded youtube video link.

                            For example with :

                            https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N351nsAMBg4

You transform the link in :

                            https://youtube.com/embed/N351nsAMBg4

It should work in most cases

@beli3ver thanks again to the community for helping keep this going, and thanks for your contributions.

As a casual user, is there a simple guide / "recommended" set of blocklists to use? Or maybe a brief summary of the different providers, such as:

Energized vs. StevenBlack since they both provide multiple?

From another angle, is there any performance negative to just "enabling all" and then if it is blocking too much to dig a bit further?

                                Thanks for any guidance πŸ™‚

My bank site login was no longer working because of "enable all" so yes it can have side effects.

To have details about lists, you can do some researchs on https://filterlists.com/
                                    For example :

Since last update of the app I noticed that some sources for my RSS feeds (uRsses / @darkeye ) do not load anymore. In uAdblock currently all 18 filters are applied.

Tried to search by domains in the filter overviews provided by the link in the post above (thanks @domubpkm ). Searching for a specific domain did not result in pin pointing the filter causing the blacklisting.

Looking for the best and easiest way to whitelist specific domains to allow them as exceptions to uAdblocker in order to allow them to be available in RSS feeds and Morph Browser.

Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks.
