          Hi @developerbayman

Java is a thing, but it's heavy and not at all efficient.
If you have the document viewer app installed, it's based on libreoffice and uses Java; but the app is over 100MB which is very huge for Ubuntu Touch. Most app are under 10 MB and many are also in KB...

You can use Java, but you'll have to package it with your app

            document viewer

Fortunately, document viewer is there, thank you for the developers, but it is indeed extremely slow for the pages to be viewed to appear!

sucks there would be performance issues, but if i could leverage java into a native app i could do wonders for UT's ecosystem
so what i have been trying to look for is a tool that would let me convert android java to html/javascript but unfortunately the entire internet seems only to be geared to convert html/js to android and not in reverse

Sadly yes, why would someone wants to translate from Android when it's the only platform there is for a popular search engine.
                ...
??? What??? Did I say something wrong?
Me never pointing any finger and making no accusation.

@applee maybe if we ask a certain ChatGPT it could give a finger to a popular search engine, reversing this situation ? šŸ˜‚
