Add Pinephone Pro Device
Is there a way to add Pinephone Pro as a device under PINE64?
I do have it running pretty well on my Pinephone Pro right now.
Mostly due to the work of this person and the community behind it.

RE: X11 Support problem
Problem still persists after running:
gsettings set com.canonical.qtmir lifecycle-exempt-appids "['com.ubuntu.music', 'com.ubuntu.terminal']"I was hoping that would fix it, but when I move off of terminal it still stops scrcpy and sends it to the background

RE: X11 Support problem
I am on focal and I am launching the app from the terminal, which opens it in a new window. I don't know if I can upload a video here, but I took one yesterday.
If I go into the multi app view cards, I can see it updating on the card, but the moment I go into the scrcpy window of my android phone it works for about 1 second and then I have to swipe back to the terminal and back to the app again.
This is on a Pinephone Pro, I realize I am not on a standard anything right now, but it seemed to be more of a function of UT putting running terminal stuff into the background when you leave the window more than a bug. It seems like it is doing it to possibly save battery? Like when I can see when it does the [1] stopped because I left the terminal.

X11 Support problem
Hello everyone.
I had an odd problem where I launch an application X11 support successfully opens, and I can see everything just fine, but then the screen and button presses don't update until I switch away from the app and back too it. Just seems really add that everything does work, but it just doesn't update, and you have to manually do it by switching in and out of the application.
The app in question is scrcpy for mirroring my android phone. App starts and runs fine, just this weird update problem (possibly with X11 support app xmir?)

RE: UBports 20.04 for PinePhone?
Not an official port, but it seems like someone is working it for both the Pinephone and Pinephone Pro.

I'm currently testing it on my Pro and a lot of things are working, some still are not.

RE: Add Pinephone Pro Device
@keneda
Agreed! I do not personally know them and just stumbled upon it while searching. It's not even on the Pinephone Pro releases page.I can't test cellular yet, but a lot of things are working out of the box.
Its running:
Ubuntu Touch 22.04 on the 6.2.0-rc8 kernel, which looks to have some custom patches applied to it as well. -
