thanks anyway.

But it is: Everything under the user's home folder is accessible from the File Manager app. Just tap the settings icon in the upper right corner and toggle on the option Show Hidden Files.
I guess my post wasn't clear enough
Again I can't go through waydroid folder in File manager app !
It's forbidden after ~/.local/share/waydroid/data/
So my question is ... is there any clue to access to Waydroid folders in File manager App ?
@arubislander said in Waydroid folders > Where in UT ?:
Please try
$ sudo ls -al ~/.local/share/waydroid/data
Yes it's ok (obviously ... no ?!)
But my concern through this post was regarding accessibility to Waydroid rep. via AppFile of UT.
I know now it's not possible
Anyway thank you.
Thanks @luksus.
So with your explanation it seems to me clearest.
I'll try to test this fact and will come back to you.

And if you use file manager app for seeing, copying files/folders from there to your UT home folders ?
Impossible through File App.
@arubislander said :
$ ls -al ~/.local/share/waydroid/data
result is "Permission denied"
@arubislander said in Waydroid folders > Where in UT ?:
@ruditimmer eh? Everything under ~/ is accessible without sudo and without having to remount the root filesysteem read / write.
For me it's OK till
~/.local/share/waydroid/data
If I want to go to
~/.local/share/waydroid/data/media/0
I've got to be SU
Many thanks @ruditimmer
I was asking myself, except going to this files through the terminal and commands lines can you confirm me the fale from "......./data/" are not accessible through "files app", aren't they ?
Hi @luksus,
Aïe ... no more SIM card after update ....again
I did upbdate last november 26th through stable canal (which just appeared the same day) toward version 1.
It was OK (except Waydroid which disapperead ... I installed it again).
... and tonigh my phone switch off because of the level of the battery and after the reboot, I get the very same problem ... no more SIM card and Wifi !
I applied same proc. you gave me and it's OK now !
Is it a bug linked to FP3+ or linked to the stable version (?) or something else ?
Have a good day and thanks again for your job
Hi there,
Where are Waydroid folders in UT folder tree ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
I updated yesterday my FP3+ with UT v.4 through Candidate channel.
Where can I get info about each release ?
Thanks in advance.

- after closing the lineage/waydroid window, it cannot be started again. You need to restart the container service first:
sudo service waydroid-container restart
- the same goes for starting Android apps directly from the app drawer
So I try to leave at least one waydroid window opened, if I don't want to restart the container again.
...
One of solution I use everyday and quite easy is the folowwing one :
Waydroid ... how to shut it down ?
...does waydroid also support things
like bluetooth or so? I want to use a android phone app, for my watch....
Bluetooth "in" wayland doesn't work for me. I tried with different kind of material like headset, keyboard, music speaker...
...could it run in the background and you'll get messages from maybe Whatsapp or Telegram, or other services under android?...
I was eager to try with Blabber for this purpose (Movim isn't OK under Ubuntu Touch ... it doesn't work for me) and if it's not open in wayland and wayland not in "front of" your phone, you don't received alerts .. Wayland and your app should be running and your phone "awake" !!!
For instance also if you wath a video through wayland your phone will fall asleep except if you take off your screensaver within UT.
Another thing, you can't access to your SD Card.
Hi @luksus ,
And If I want to keep only one or two icons from this family "waydroid.*"
how should I proceed in the following script ... (In fact I'd like to make an exception ;o))
#!/bin/bash
waydroid session stop
rm .local/share/applications/waydroid.*
Hi @c4pp4
@cr9c Only 'waydroid session stop' is necessary. You need to keep the container started to launch waydroid again via menu icon.
OK
You can create a desktop launcher to stop waydroid session.
e.g.:
/home/phablet/.local/share/applications/waydroid-stop.desktop[Desktop Entry] Type=Application Name=Waydroid Stop Exec=waydroid session stop Icon=/usr/lib/waydroid/data/AppIcon.png
Thank's for that, good idea I didn't think about ;o)
You can create a script to additionally remove some android icons.
...
However I don't understand this about removing Android Icons ?! Is there's any link with the way to stop Waydroid ?
In what way is it useful ? Could you tel me why you wrote this ?
Thank's anyway.
@loops No, it has always been like that.
@loops said in How loud is max volume on your Ubuntu phone?:
I recently had such an issue in an update to my OP5T. Ringing volume was very low and so was in-call volume etc. After I updated my phone, the issue disappeared.
I am on the RC channel. Are you guys on stable?
hi @Loops I'm on RC channel and I didn't have xhanges between Dev and Candidate one...
