Hi all,
Does wireless display function work on the Pro1-X running UT 20.04? Is it possible to use the wireless connected device as a mouse/touchpad like those phones that could connect to a TV/monitor via HDMI?
Thanks in advance!

@kugiigi Thanks! Read-only fs is not a problem (although "sudo mount -o remount,rw /" might solve it like on my Nexus 5 running UT :D), but I would especially use it to create and run bash, python etc. scripts.
Have you tried to connect/share display wirelessly, does it work?
@wally I bought an MS Wireless Adapter V2 a few days ago. It works (my Pro1-X runs Android 11), but there's some lagging (sometimes it freezes a little bit, as well), and of course it not as stable as a HDMI cable.
Hi!
Does anybody here have recent experience with UT 20.04 on F(x)tec Pro1-X? Is it stable (calls, sms, mobile data, WiFi)? Does the keyboard work properly? What about the battery life compared to Android 11? Is it worth replacing Android 11 with UT on this device, or if I would like to use linux related things on the phone should I stay and use Termux on Android?
Thanks!
@kugiigi Thanks Any other solution to share/mirror/duplicate screen to an external monitor on UT 20.04?
Hi All!
Is it possible to make HDMI function work on F(x)tec Pro1-X (on UT 20.04) and connect the phone to an external monitor with an USB-C - HDMI cable/dock?
Thanks in advance!
@arubislander I installed 20.04, and I was able to install OpenConnect. Now I have to figure out how could I use 2FA with it (second password comes via text message).
@Lakotaubp, @arubislander Hi! Thanks, I've already checked it, I'll give a try. However, I was able to install openconnect on my Nexus 5 which also runs 16.04, so I'm a bit skeptical that installing 20.04 will solve this.
Hi!
I have a PinePhone whith Ubuntu Touch 16.04 on it. Is it possible to install openconnect on it?
I tried "sudo apt-get install openconnect" (after "sudo mount -o remount,rw /"), but I got this:
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
biometryd-bin : Depends: libbiometry1 (= 0.0.3+0~20230413224327.3~1.gbp97b714) but it is not going to be installed
openconnect : Depends: vpnc-scripts but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libopenconnect5 (>= 7.05) but it is not going to be installed
qml-module-biometryd : Depends: libbiometry1 (= 0.0.3+0~20230413224327.3~1.gbp97b714) but it is not going to be installed
"apt update" and "apt upgrade" were done before it.
Thannks in advance!
