Yes I unlocked access to all files in files manager, and each time it was requested.
However, I didn't found the place where I could set my SD, whether it's in File Manager or another place in UbTouch.
It's as if the "point de montage" (in french) was mounted (as the music application sees the songs), but was not visible!

I understand your solution for SDCard, but I would need to access my SD "normally".
I don't have enough space in the internal storage for my song, pictures and so on.
For the Bluetooth, it's Ok with your solution, thanks.

That being said, I'm running out of time to find the right balance between what I have on my Lineage ROM and what I would have on UbTouch.

This really bothers me, as I'm very interested in your work.
I'm willing to make sacrifices, but again, I'm short on time.
So, I restored Lineage and my DATA partition.
I will continue to follow the forum and I'm sure I will come back.

Ps: I just remembered that I had another problem (sorry): no way to send pictures via MMS! Is it because of the APN ?

Uh, I wanted to leave the thread open for Kajan, and while re-reading the posts, I was wondering about ubports_GSI_installer : will it continue to evolve for the RN7 ?

I know it's a lot of work for you, and you're counting on our feedback, but I'm just curious about that.

My Phone is an Redmi Note 7 : Tested with my JBL Flip 4.
Test is Ok

This is my first installation of UbTouch, and there are two things that bother me:

• I can't find the location of my SDCard with FileManager, while the Music application accesses, without any action from me, my music on the SD.
  I can't import my contacts either.
• I can't pair my bluetooth speakers.

I continue my discovery of UbTouch

Hello

With your solution I can install UbTouch, validate my PIN code, but then it asks me for a password associated with the RNote7 login, to unlock the phone.
This login corresponds to the name I had entered before, but without putting a password!
What is the default password?
Did I make a mistake?

@smoky I tried with two android 9 roms (crdroid and lineage unofficial - not found in official): it does not recognize my phone as a lavender.

I should certainly do a test soon, with Ubuntu and the ubtouch installer.

I've tried to install UbTouch on my Redmi Note 7 Lavender with 2 method, but no way ....

First, with this link :

  I'm block when I want to flash the ROM (DL from the post).
  The error is : my phone is not a Note 7 Lavnder !!!
  I've tried twice, but again ... no way !

  I've tried with the windows 10 soft installation.
  At the end of the process installatiion, my phone reboot, I see the logo Lineage with the orange color, and my note 7 reboot again, I see the logo Redmi and black screen, and Redmi, and black screen. ...

Somebody, could give me some advice ?
