In case someone is interested, I just saw a job offer by the company that created the Volla phones: https://volla.online/en/blog/files/software-developer-job.html

RE: Forum migration
I have to say it too: it is really hard to read now with this current orange-grey-purple color scheme. Also, the colors don't fit to each other. In german we'd say: those colors "bite each other". Honestly I'm really annoyed, it kind of hurts my eyes, please go back to the old style. Thanks a lot

RE: Easy fix possible? Issue of not readable time on Volla Phone display with rounded corners?
@gt a quick workaround might be to install the suru dark mode indicator. So you would have another (non-essential) icon in the indicator bar between clock and edge of display.

RE: Tshirt request
It would be great if those merch shirts and hoodies were organic and fair (in the future?). In case ubports is interested, I have good contacts to a small firm that does eco-prints on fair-eco stuff (GOTS, FWF) in Germany. I would gladly help. Just saying

RE: Waydroid will not start
@mschmids hi, so far I did not get it to start on the Volla Phone (by using only waydroid helper app). I've tried 3 times install/de-install... Should I try it via terminal instead?

Stuck in headphone mode
Hi,
Suddenly my phone (nexus 5) is stuck in headphone-mode, that means i can only hear sound (and get heard) when my headphones are plugged in. Any idea whether or not this is software related?
Thanks -
RE: 'crazy Volla'
Well,kl.k รค n j
My phone is bare ly ubskmkl รคl ukhs usable anymore because of this scary ghost touches. I just wanted to sign in to an account and gave up after 15 minutes. As you can see by the text above, sometimes I can write stuff, sometimes it just types nonsense by itself or doesn't response at all. Sometimes it is messing with my configurations (e.g. by turning stuff in and off through the head bar; wifi, sound, etc). More and more nothing works at all.
I don't have the capacity at the moment to set up a new ubuntu touch phone. And I've never used or want to use any Apple or Android smortphone. I hate this at the moment. And the fact that nobody seems to get how the ghost touches appear makes it so weird; often enough I thought someone else is messing with my phone remotely.
PS: didn't expect to get this far with typing after the start was very very not promising. I need to turn off the screen a lot in between to be able to type

RE: Nexus 5 battery case: advice?
@dad_and_alive
sounds like you have already made the decision to buy one of these products. So just give it a try (and tell us about it)
For me, sustainability is the main criterium, so I would rather buy an extension that I can use with other devices, too. That means, even if I buy a new phone one day, I want the battery extension/powerbank (or even the phone case) to be compatible by its form, design or connection. But I am also lazy to buy or sell stuff; of course there are also ways to reuse, refurbish outdated products.
