    BTW, just to clarify, I remembered you can also upgrade to focal without using the installer. You just have to switch to the focal channel and install the OTA on the device itself.

    Dear readers,

    for you I want to classify the answer, from @Lakotaubp.
    The following devices are listed as officially marked:
    (see also here: https://ubports.com/de/blog/ubports-blogs-nachrichten-1/post/ubuntu-touch-ota-2-focal-release-3894 )

    Fairphone 3 – NEW!
    Fairphone 4
    F(x)tec Pro1 X – NEW!
    Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL
    Oneplus 5 and 5T
    OnePlus 6 and 6T
    Vollaphone and Vollaphone X
    Vollaphone 22
    Vollaphone X23 – NEW!
    Xiaomi Mi A2
    Xiaomi Poco M3
    Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro

    and the rest are «Focal» capable but not yet (really) official:

    OnePlus Nord 2 5G (denniz)
    Google Pixel 3a (sargo)
    Sony Xperia X (suzu)
    Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (gta8)
    Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (hero2lte)
    Samsung Galaxy S7 (herolte)
    Jingpad (jingpad_a1)

    In the future, also pay attention to the official website https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/ with the filter, release "Focal", turned on.
    Edit: Please for a better benfit you also have to play with "filters" issue «Development Stage», and/or others.

    ♥ Greetings Mario

    @Dunbrokin You want to be in looking in https://www.gitlab.com/ubports. You will need a GitLab account to open an issue. If you think the issue might be specific to the clock app then searching for or else opening an issue here would be the right place. If you think it might be something more general then here is a good place to open the issue.

    Also take some time to click around and familiarize yourself with the layout of the project, so you know where to file issues for other ... issues ... that you might encounter. This is a valuable way of contributing to the project.
    Just don't be a drive-by issues opener: Include as much information about the issue as possible, especially information on how it can be reliably reproduced. Stay engaged, be ready to answer follow-up questions and to try out suggested work-arounds or fixes.

    No, it's not. There is no Focal version for that device.

    @kugiigi no it's not urgent, but I would be glad if ubports did not lose support for japanese in the long run. I also know some people who will not be able to upgrade to focal, unless japanese input is restored, but they may not mind to wait a little longer.

    Copy/paste enabled or disabled seems to be dependent of properties/ structure of the wifi addresses:
    at one wifi address I can reliably repeat copy/paste, at a second one I cannot do this at all.
    What might be the difference between the two wifi addresses? Strange...

    @kimo
    I've been able to config proton vpn conexion on my Volla X with a fresh 20.04 focal.
    I did the same as with 16.04, but without the vpn app and it works.
    I can choose sha-512, but it works too choosing "by default"

    @kugiigi
    correct, the pin entry does not need any confirmation after enough digits are entered. So once the screen is on any random touches on the numpad will lead to a string of login attempts.

    @lduboeuf
    I have both the greeter and the launcher disabled. it's possible that I failed to enter the pin on the full keyboard as I was a bit rushed. 🤷

    In any case, given that the bootloader needs to stay unlocked and UT not does support encrypting the home partition(?), I don't think the possible limit bypass by pulling the battery is a large security issue, but it was also not the expected behaviour 👋

    I just learned (from Maciek at the OpenStore telegram group) that the app still needs to be modified, OpenStore won't accept a click file for 16.04 because it targets a different system version, even if you can install it manually.
    He pointed me to the UT App Dev telegram group and advised me to make my own modified version.
    Unfortunately, I really don't have the time.
    If anyone who reads this has time to make and publish a version for 20.04 on OpenStore?
