@rocket2nfinity Just thought I'd post my results for the N10 as well. In the past, I tried to repackage BE2026 Global firmware as BE2028, but I was not able to get the bootloader to unlock. Perhaps someone else is able to try something a bit different and get it to work, but just thought I'd share. Happy to share info as well. https://forums.ubports.com/post/93798

Your BE2015 install path was useful prior art for cracking the BE2012 (T-Mobile US, not Metro) variant — same chipset, slightly different blockers. Sharing in the spirit of reciprocity. Full BE2012 installer up at https://github.com/dcherrera/n100-be2012-crossflash. macOS-native EDL flash (no MSMDownloadTool needed), plus a small binary patch to /usr/sbin/ofonod that fixes a SIM-init blocker which leaves Modem.Features stuck at ['sim'] on first boot — same modem firmware family, may be relevant to BE2015 users on certain SIMs too. README has the offset table if anyone wants to verify against their build. Also confirms your "T-Mobile SIM works, Verizon SIM doesn't" observation on the BE82CB modem firmware — same outcome on our end, since the modem firmware is T-Mobile-band tuned.

I successfully flashed ubuntu touch on it. I bought this model not knowing it wouldn't work. So I spent a few day putting together a work around because honestly it just sounded like a fun challenge. You can look through my findings here. https://github.com/dcherrera/n100-be2012-crossflash. Just a heads up, you should be able to clone this and claude code should be able to orient itself and help you get it done. i tried very hard to make sure the documentation was complete.

@0xecution3r Yeah they wear out over time. I have replaced the ribbon cable and buttons on a lot of used devices. You can mark this topic as solved by marking it as read and then solved.

@robales I guess you could look here at what is merged for the particular daily you are on. Everything older than a day is quite probably in the newest image. It can vary if day old merges are also included, depending on when you are checking and when the image was built. (In the example every merge not related to 24.04-1 is filtered out.)

I had the same issue and switching the audio route manually using the dialer’s in-call menu worked for me—toggling between speaker and earpiece sometimes kicks the audio back in.

@Amarurtuuq Very glad to hear it worked! If it does happen again and you get the chance, it'd be great to get a readout of the Terminal command that @lduboeuf listed above, so folks who know more than you and I can understand what's going on. journalctl --boot --identifier=nuntium --identifier=ofonod Take care!

@Mabuntu said in wi-fi scan: Hallo, I had the same problem. You could try power off and later power-on the device over bootloader (power+volume-up) but before you do that you have to swtich into flight-mode. Good luck! Additionally you could delete systemsettings cache &settings-data with ut-tweak-tool Thank you. I accidentally figured out another way: after I managed to get wi-fi to work as expected, I left the wi-fi on before turning off the device and next time I power the phone on, wi-fi works. In case I experience any problem, I will try your advice. Thanks again.

Solved .. Well.. this is embarrassing, after rebooting the computer one more time, the Qualcomm drivers appaired. Went on to successfully install the original android 10 (ver 10.5.8) (metro-t-mobile ver) then installed - "Metro - to- Global", preassembled package image of oxogen OS ver 10.5.5 .. ( no trace of Metor-T-Mobil anymore) Then tried to flash EU firmware OxygenOS_10.5.2 . Then Global OxygenOS_10.5.3 as required for UT install.. both of theas attempts failed. MSM download tool error: "Device not match image (20880)" Thanks for your info Wally, Id sure like to hear what Ruben did, ? is OS ver 10.5.3 OR 10.5.2 an absolute must to install UT .. ? Thanks again

@Lindisfarne You do not need to root the device. OEM unlocking is not necessary at this stage. You need a Windows PC (running Windows) and you need to download one of the Android ROMs on the devices page for that device, unzip it and find the MSM Download tool. Please read here to understand how to use the Tool and take your time. Once the tool has finished flashing, the device will reboot, then you can set up Android, unlock the bootloader , set up Android again and then install UT. I have not got the MSM Download tool to run on Linux or in a Virtual Windows machine within Linux.

@irnbru That is correct, the device is "Billie", but the Other names is to do with something else.
