@rubencarneiro said in TB-X306X No wifi/bluetooth: https://github.com/rubencarneiro/amar_row_lte/releases/download/1.0/FIRMWARE.tar.xz That linked worked. I will use the SP flash tool next time. The Lenovo tool put the last release on the device and I wondered if that was the issue I had installing using the installer.

@Danes Just use spflash tool and reflash the firmware provide on the README in gitlab https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/community-ports/android11/lenovo-tab-m10-hd/lenovo-m10-hd/-/blob/main/README.md?ref_type=heads

@hyx_david It has to be the latest version of Android 11 for that device, any other will give issues. Ther may be issues if it is a non 306F or 306X versions as well even though the specs appear the same. I would contact the Porter of the device and see if they can help.

@MilesTeg said in Lenovo Tab M9 (ZAC30056US)??: any chance that that this Lenovo tablet might be compatible with Ubuntu Touch? No. It will have to be ported first. Otherwise, as you already hinted at, it would have been on the list.

thank you. I missed the "fastboot reboot fastboot" step. My mistake (I should have read more carefully). Thank you very much for your work.

@zedr0k It needs to be upgraded to Android 11 to install UT. The 2Gb model stopped at Android 10 (thanks Lenovo). I haven't seem the 'A' variant, but it was sold in my region.

@kugiigi Just to point out, it has to be the 4Gb 64Gb version as the Android version installed is the one required. The 2Gb 32gb version of the TB-X306 is a no go for UT. The other tablet worth looking at is the 3Gb 32Gb TB-X605F or TB-X605L. Disclaimer: It can be a nightmare to boot and Focal works with some things, notably Cameras don't work.

@kugiigi ; ...Good advice from a wise man, thank you ... if I'm wise too, of course. Concerning UT, I'll open another post about some question I have about the particularity of its adaptation for this tablet. See you soon.

Sadly, this is one of the long time quirks with bluetooth on UT especially input devices like keyboard and mouse. I've never found a solution except finding a different model that works better Someone with knowledge and skill has to look into it.

@aimar wireless display is only supported via the Miracast protocol, and even so it may not work. Most Sony and Samsung monitors work and the Microsoft Miracast adapter is also sure to work. While connected via wireless you can still surf the web, yes.

@MrT10001 Everything except cellullar seems to be working. But the previous owner also had issues with that with Android so I guess the hardware is broken. Fine for me since I only use Wifi. But another problem now is that it didn't update to the latest Ubuntu touch version 193. Instead it downgraded to version 65 when I tried to update it via the os. Now nothing happens when I confirm the update to version 193.

To complete this thread: I found a mouse that works like a charm: Rapoo Wireless Mouse MT750S Okay, the lomiri bug that it only works fine in portrait mode is there, but I'm sure this will be fixed and this has nothing to do with the mouse itself. So, thanks for all suggestions!

@MrT10001 Found it. It's the Sapot browser - don't know why. Every other app gives sufficient sound, including the Morph browser. "Man findet es immer da, wo man zuletzt sucht" - German saying, meaning "you always find it where you are looking last" (deepl). Thanks again.
