    @messayisto you can install an UbuntuTouch splshscreen on some devices as well, see here: https://rubencarneiro.github.io/rubencarneiro.io//Ubuntu-Touch-Device-Bootlogos.markdown/ cool ! I note that flash Xiaomi Mi A2 bootlogo deletes fastboot image, fastboot mode works but instead of this image :[image: 1657639383305-02_bootloader.png] there is the black screen Then I found this restored fastboot image and created my bootlogo :[image: 1657641102439-04_boot-unlocked.png] The procedure is not difficult and is well explained ... perhaps it can also be used (adapted) to different devices.

    I looked it up. The term is multi frame super resolution. Not sure if there is even actual hardware to process this kind of stuff. Would be nice, if there was some generic mode, but what you day doesn't sound promising. Iphones and google phones do this for sure. The galaxy s10 probably too, which i am interested in. Anyway thanks for the info.

    @peter-gamma The OP already mentioned that LibreOffice works on other PinePhone OS's, but not in Libertine on Ubuntu Touch. Repeatedly mentioning this fact does not help bringing a solution to the issue closer. While I genuinely am happy that you have found a solution that suits your specific needs, It would be more helpful finding a way to move this project forward in this regard, rather than repeatedly, and it seems in every thread you can, mentioning that it works for you on another distro. I would like to remind you that this is the Ubuntu Touch forums, after all.

    @serdickson said in Screen: Maybe someone has some suggestions about it. About what ? The car system or on Ubuntu Touch working or not with it ? For the first i don't know, for the second it depends on bluetooth working or not between your UT device and the car system, and i don't have it so can't tell.

    Clickable supports Focal Desktop Mode starting from 7.4.0. So app developers can try whether their apps compile and start without crash on focal. CLICKABLE_FRAMEWORK=ubuntu-sdk-20.04 clickable desktop Until some compatibility layer is in place (its planned), one needs to change Ubuntu QML imports: find -name '*.qml' | xargs -I {} sed -i 's/import Ubuntu\./import Lomiri./g' {}

    @fireful0 I wouldn't count on wireless display that much. First of all, compatibility on UT is very limited. It's only known to work on Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and I don't even know if it works on OnePlus One. Also, even if it works, wireless display has significant input lag that it's only really usable with media consumption. Even on Android, I never had a good experience with it.

    Hi, I'm reacting to the "firewall" thing. I'm not sure you really understand what a firewall does?! A firewall acts on the data traffic incoming or outgoing to simplify its job is to prevent incoming unsolicited traffic. It won't protect you when accessing your banking account. When browsing, the user is willingly connecting to a server, in doing so rendering a firewall useless if the server is compromised. Of course a firewall can block known malicious addresses or allow only known IPs but it is restrictive and not that effective. To go back to the main topic here : Ubuntu Touch The hotspot is a bit tricky to activate but it works for most of the devices. Regarding the move to 20.04, the technical limitations are unknown at the moment so the foundation (or anyone) is not able to give a statement on whether a device CAN or CANNOT be ported to 20.04. The foundation already gave a list of devices on which they are working. This list will most probably see a port to 20.04. For other devices it will depend on the porter or if someone step in to do the job ; the core team will be able to help but they cannot port each of the tens of devices supported right now. I hope this clarifies some things.
