@makeixo said in Ubuntu Touch Photography: I think that can be fixed. I'm assuming it will be fixed in a future update. For now, however, it's suboptimal.

This is really a very minor quibble - but while we got really nice updates (with a unified design style) to the splash screens to most of the core apps in OTA-13, it seems Morph, Camera and File Manager apps still are using old splash images. Are there plans to have new ones for these 3 core apps in OTA-14? Best regards, Steve Berson

@mateo_salta yes but everything wiped out at update. Good discussion from the link @GizmoChicken posted. The way I see it the challenge is a bit of a "chicken and egg" problem. Some devs want "pure linux" so they don't come. Since they aren't here, development team is small and can't expand to a broader scope. At the same time, very good points have been made about needing to be compatible with android devices. Pinephone is a tinkerers delight, but is less powerful than a N5 from 2013. So I see Ubuntu Touch as a viable "daily driver" in its current form for halium devices / former android phones. But a lot of people want "pure linux phone" which is hard to have as a daily driver yet. It is a different group. Ok enough for now

@manland I suspect the responsiveness of the site. If you have a small screen 11" for example, it can trigger the tablet mode and mask/change/adapt the UI (and some features)... There is a good explanation but it's hard to pin point. Edit: I just tested on my phone (UT with the webapp) and it works fine too. Maybe a parameter in your account but I couldn't find it...

It seems that Hallo Welt would have currently close contacts with companies interested in the Volla phone, including the UBports version. These companies would also be interested in supporting the foundation. (don't know if it's right, nor about the current state of this)... Is there a marketing project to promote Ubuntu Touch to companies? (B2B users). Indeed, It appears that the operating system, which offers a high level of privacy, is particularly suited to the business world.

@Fla there's a translation regression on FP2 for the drop-down menu, where "cellular data" isn't translated.
