    Hi @applee The deb packages are the recommended way for the middleware. Sensorfw is the software which connects the linux drivers of the sensors to Qt and does the calibration. In this way all apps which use Qt could make use of the sensors. For the SensorsStatus app clickable is the way to go.

    This thread is now very long and quite hard to follow (something that happenend to the MMS thread, see above link) and the main issues have been repeated in various ways by various contributors all making valid points of view. So it makes a good reference point as to the state and views on PinePhone developement to date 28/06/21. Specific new issues or questions can still be posted in the PinePhone sub category but I do think this thread has run it's course so will lock it. Once more thanks to all who have contributed to this thread in your normal friendly but robust mannor.

    ....so after further digging and experimenting by pressing the power button and volume up button at the same time will put it in some mode that allows me to access the whole phone and edit files. Thats exactly what i was looking for. phone has to be off. hold the two buttons till the green lights pops on. let go, it should now say "awaiting command"

    Yes that's right and there lies the problem :-). If I want to have Bluetooth I have to be on the Dev channel. If I want a more "stable" modem I have to be on the kernel channel. So either the Pebble Time is running or I can call someone but I guess that soon BT will be available on the kernel channel

    Ok, I've got email(s) to the Pine Phone folks and they are looking into some options too. I'm going to hold off a bit to see what they say. I can't believe that within Mobian you cannot uncrypt your files, or do a hard reset that take Mobian back to square one.

    @keneda I've only tried network transfer from PC to UT. I've used wifitransfer and bluetooth transfer to send files to my PC (but not from Pinephone). Pinephone sends music to bluetooth speaker OK.

    @ohnez Yes, Qt 5.12 upgrade will unblock a few things, and we are very close getting this in. So with a little more patience we can hopefully upgrade your experience soon

    @kugiigi Yeah, the dock works on Manjaro phosh for both usb mouse/keyboard and external display, so I know it's not the dock. I messed around with mounting the root filesystem as writable for a bit and apt installing a few things, as initially I was not able to get libertine to work, so I'm going to try flashing a fresh dev image and see if that helps at all.
