Not sure if the article is still valid for 24.04 noble. Tried it, didn't notice any difference. Then I discovered app UT Tweak Tool which seems more handy than typing config files. In 24.04 noble, is there any way, even programmatically, to increase or decrease the different text sizes individually, as well as increase and decrease the icon sizes separately from scaling the text(s)? The scaling in app UT Tweak Tool scales everything, causing some text in some apps not being visible if the scaling is big. The default text size is quite small. In desktop mode, it seems that the scaling is different, but if adjusted it adjusts the scaling even in non-desktop-mode. Somehow, it would be desirable to have two different text(s) and icon scalings, one for the device itself standalone, and one scaling when connected in desktop mode. Usually, there is one text size for WindowTitles, one for Documents, one for Interface, one for Monospace and then there is usually a TextScaling factor that adjusts all text sizes (fonts) without having to tinker with each one individually. Hinting and AntiAliasing is usually also part of what you can adjust.

@gpatel-fr Yeah, I noticed that about the logs too. The phone "thinks" I sent a text, and then it "thinks" I sent another text, but in the middle the phone does "not think" that I tried sending a photo message. Which I did. There's actually three message attempts in that timeframe. The photo message send(MMS) just might as well have never happened at all. It's completely missing, my human activity is not there logged in that moment. So the text messaging app itself probably would have sent the photo over to my carrier but it just never knew I attempted to send the photo from the OS to begin with? I don't know for now but I'm going to have to do the hard reset and wipe it all and start over. For now I need this working. I haven't gotten any text messages in over a week now and and I know how to get it working again. It just is what it is. I need to think about how I will add this to the bug report.

@o.o. For the record, with Signal UT it's now possible to send and receive messages, photos, and audios in Signal UT without Waydroid, and to get standard UT notifications when a new message arrives even when the phone is locked.

Another quick update. I'm really pleased to announce that I got the SharePlugin part of the app working as well. I successfully pushed a file from my Pixel 3a to my (Linux) laptop over BT, but even more importantly for me, I was able to push selected contacts to my car kit The user interface is still too rough for the app to be published as is (at this stage, you have to select the target device based on its MAC address, which is far from convenient), but I'm working on it.

Adding a column named for example pref_order to the urls table and sorting by it instead of the row_id (that can't be changed since it's an implicit column) could allow to change dynamically the browser. It would be nice to have if alternative browsers could be used. I don't know if the packagers for alternative browsers would be motivated enough to search what is missing for that.
